What's Currently In My Makeup Bag

One of my favourite beauty Youtube videos to watch are "What's in my makeup bag." I love to see what others are currently using and loving, so I thought I would share what's in mine!

Makeup Bag: Emma Lomax London. She makes the coolest bags from makeup bags to beach bags.

Eylure Nicole Guerriero "Faux Flawless" Eyelashes - I LOVE wearing these eyelashes simply because it feels like you aren't wearing any! The band is super thin and comfortable to wear. I also love Nicole Guerriero and her eyelash styles in the Eylure range are my go to.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation, SPF 50+ in Medium - Super light and comfortable to wear with great coverage and SPF 50+ which makes it that much better.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in "Pink Passion" - The staying power of these blushes are phenomenal and I love that it comes with 3 different colours all in a similar shade range. It gives you options, or you can mix/layer all 3.

Dior 5 Couleurs Palette in "797 Feel" - Wearing anything from Dior makes you feel super luxurious and their eyeshadow palettes are no exception. They offer a variety of such great colour palettes, but this one is my go-to everyday neutral.

MAC/Patrick Starrr "Patrick's Powder" - Everyone wants flawless skin, and in my opinion this is one of the best loose powders on the market to go for. It's so fine, blurring any pores, and sits so nicely on fine lines and wrinkles while offering the perfect matte texture with long lasting effects.

Tweezerman Eyelash Curler - A standard, affordable eyelash curler that everyone should own.

Essence Lash Princess Mascara in "Black" - So cheap, yet so good! Gives you a false lash effect with length for only $3.99.

Tarte Tape Shape Concealer in "Light Sand" - I absolutely get the hype about this product. It gives you coverage like no other, with some serious lasting power. It's my daily go to because it's still on my face after a 14hr work day.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in "Dark Brown" - A cult classic. Goes on really easily and smoothly with a dense colour payoff.

Quo Liquid Liner in "Brown" - I have very watery eyes, and my favourite look is a sharp winged liner, so the two do not mix well together. With most liners, in no time the colour has gotten wet and gone up into the crease of my eyelid after blinking. That was until I discovered this liquid liner. Even on my watery eyes, it does not move at all and the line stays as sharp as when first applied.

MAC Matte Lipstick in "Velvet Teddy" - It's no secret that I love MAC's lipstick line. They offer such a great range of colours and formulas that it would be impossible for anybody to not find a perfect lipstick for them from MAC Cosmetics. My most used and go to shade is "Velvet Teddy". A matte lipstick in a universally flattering deep tone beige shade. One I always go back to.

Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in "Truffle" - A matte, deep chocolate single eyeshadow. Long lasting, with dense pigment, and layers smoothly intensifying the colour if you so wish. I also love that you can easily pop out the single shadow colours to add it into a palette.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar "Bronze and Glow" - I love all of Charlotte Tilbury's products and this duo would fall into my top 3 products from the line. A face sculpt and highlighting palette to help slim, sculpt, shorten, trim and highlight your features for a natural contour and glow.

NYC Bronzing Powder in "Sunny" - Another cheap, yet so good drugstore product. It's no more than $5 and I love the bronzing colour. It's the right shade of a natural tan, which is why it has me going back to it time and time again.

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in "Soft Ochre" - A cream eyeshadow or eyeshadow base, the MAC paint pots have many different uses and come in many different colours. This shade in particular I use as an eyeshadow base to smooth and prep my eyelids for my eyeshadow application, to ensure it has extra long staying power and stays crease free.

MAC Prep + Prime in "Radiant Yellow" - A recent favourite of mine. A great hydrating primer that works well under many foundations while adding a slight yellow tint to help improve radiance on medium to deep skin tones.

Make Up Forever HD Lip Booster in "01" - As mentioned in my "Perfect Your Pout" post, I'm still loving this lip booster! When doing my makeup I put it on as the first step so it can absorb and hydrate my lips just in time for my last step, applying that MAC matte lipstick.

I will be sharing all of my go to, must have brushes in an upcoming post.
