DIY - Post Workout Rosewater Face Wipes

I've always loved refreshing rose water sprays and so many brands make them though I've never seen it come in a wipe form. I had some roses that were coming to the end of their life and so I thought I would get the most out of them and give it a try, making my own! Here's how I did it.
 What you'll need:
Red Roses - I used 8 to get 2 1/2 batches
Jars - 1 large or 2 smaller ones
Cotton Rounds - Enough to fill your jars
A measuring jug with a spout
Step 1:
In a medium saucepan, pull apart the rose petals from the stem
Step 2:
Fill up your saucepan halfway with water
Step 3:
Bring the water and rose petals to a boil, then reducing the heat to medium low simmer for 20 minutes, pushing down the rose petals with the back of a spoon occasionally. You'll start to see the petals turning light pink
Step 4:
Drain the water over a strainer into a large bowl catching the rose petals. Push down on the rose petals in the strainer with the back of your spoon to get the most rosewater out of them and into the bowl
Step 5:
Fill your jars with cotton pads. With half and half dilute your rosewater with water. Pour the rosewater into a jug with a spout and pour over the cotton pads filling up the jar, keeping a gap from the very top rim so it doesn't spill over
Step 6:
Enjoy! Keep at room temperature or in the fridge which I prefer, to give you a more cool and refreshing application. If you enjoy a rose water spritz more, just pour the rose water into a spray bottle, diluted with some water and there ya go!
Let me know if you give it a try!
