All About Shea

With your fresh glowing summer tan taking over your skin tone, its important to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized to prolong it as much as possible and avoid any patching and peeling. I was sent this beautiful pack of Natural Shea Butters to try out and I have to say I'm really enjoying them over a normal drugstore moisturizer! Created by a mother/daughter duo, they have introduced a great way to moisturize with raw, unrefined, Ghanaian shea butter.

Shea butter is very similar in a way to coconut oil. It starts off as a solid, but once mixed between your hands, the heat from your palms turns it to liquid making it really easy to apply. I also find that it absorbs quicker into the skin than a regular moisturizer, which is what I love most about it. Being all natural, you know that no other unnecessary chemicals are being absorbed into the skin. It comes in 100% shea butter, all natural shea butter, essence of lavender shea butter and my personal favourite, essence of grapefruit shea butter. The packaging is adorable, small and travel friendly! They all smell fantastic, and at the end of the day, all do and offer the same thing - great moisture and smoother skin!
